Reflecting on December

Updated: Feb 13, 2023

As December comes to a close, I have had an exciting and busy month. It really just flew by! I've had the pleasure of performing magic and mentalism at all kinds of Christmas and holiday parties all month long, and I am truly grateful to all of my wonderful clients who have invited me to entertain at their events. I met some incredible people this month, especially at the J.P. Morgan Chase holiday party. These people were some of the kindest, most welcoming folks I've had the pleasure of entertaining.

The month of December can be quite chaotic, but there is a unique charm to doing magic at holiday celebrations. The cheerful mood, paired with the magic's power to evoke wonder and happiness, creates a memorable experience for both me and those watching. I have been fortunate enough to perform at a variety of events this December, from cozy get-togethers with loved ones to big corporate bashes. Regardless of the scale or location, I consistently aim to design a magic performance that suits the specific requirements and preferences of my clients.

As I reflect on this fast-paced month, I can't help but feel so thankful for all the great opportunities that have come my way. I'm somehow lucky enough to be able to make a living doing what I truly love, and that alone is a gift that I'm so thankful for.

Here's to many more magical and memorable December parties in the future! I had a nice, quiet Christmas with my wife and daughter and I've finally finished assembling and putting batteries in all of her new toys. There's a lot!

I'm taking a few days off to spend some much-needed time with my wife's family in Michigan (fingers crossed for enough snow to go sledding) and then I'm off to Japan for a bit of adventure!
